Accessibility

Last updated: June 2026

Our commitment

We want GamingList to be usable by as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies. We aim to follow widely recognized accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1, Level AA) as the platform grows.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML and meaningful headings so screen readers can navigate the site.
  • Provide text alternatives for images such as game covers.
  • Aim for sufficient color contrast and readable text sizes.
  • Support keyboard navigation for interactive elements.
  • Respect the “reduce motion” setting for animations.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never “done.” As a small project we're continually improving, and some areas may not yet fully meet our goals. We welcome feedback that helps us do better.

Tell us about a barrier

If you run into an accessibility problem on GamingList, please let us know through our support page. Tell us what happened and which page you were on, and we'll do our best to fix it.
